Erstmals habe ich heute Nacht Coyotes geh\u00f6rt – mein Zelt stand super und die Temperatur war ok – gegen Morgen wurde es etwas frisch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ein wunderbarer Morgen und die ersten 25 km waren echtes Genu\u00dfradfahren entlang der vielen wineyards. Kaum Verkehr und tolles Panorama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zur\u00fcck auf dem Highway nahm der Verkehr zu und ein m\u00e4\u00dfiger Headwind verlangte kr\u00e4ftiges Treten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gottseidank ging es lange moderat bergab. Gegen Mittag nahm der Wind deutlich zu und die letzten Kilometer nach Tombstone – meinem Tagesziel – war es echt hart, zumal es nochmal 200 H\u00f6henmeter zu \u00fcberwinden galt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das ganze spielt sich so zwischen 1200 und 1500 \u00fcber dem Meeresspiegel ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gleich am Anfang von Tombstone liegt der ber\u00fchmte Boothill – musste ich nat\u00fcrlich, trotz viel Sand in der Luft, besichtigen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schlafen werde ich heute im Historical Inn Tombstone – eine witzige Location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auf die Frage an den Eigent\u00fcmer, wo ich zum Dinner hingehe – klare Ansage: Longhorn Restaurant – seit \u00fcber 100 Jahren eine Institution in Tombstone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samstagabend sind nat\u00fcrlich viele Touristen hier – trotzdem cool auf den Spuren von Wyatt Earp und Doc Holliday zu wandeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
