Im Dairy Queen an der Interstate Ausfahrt treffe ich Leisa und Matt – Mitte Oktober hatten wir uns in Rhein-Main verabschiedet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zusammen mit Matt mache ich mich (mein Gep\u00e4ck nimmt Leisa mit zur\u00fcck) auf die knapp 100 km bis Tucson, wo die Beiden als \u201eSnowbirds\u201c in ihrem RV den Winter verbringen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nach etwa 10 Meilen stoppen wir am Stra\u00dfenrand und Matt zieht sich etliche ganz h\u00e4\u00dfliche Dornen in seine Reifen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Problem l\u00e4sst sich nicht wirklich l\u00f6sen und wir steuern einen Bikeshop in DownTown Tucson an. Zwei neue Reifen werden aufgezogen und die Sache ist erledigt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In der coolen Brauerei nebenan genehmigen wir uns ein k\u00fchles Bier, bevor wir uns auf die letzten 25 km machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bemerkenswert ist, dass wir ca. 50 km im Bereich von Tucson auf sehr guten und verkehrsfreien Radwegen fahren k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kurz vor 18 Uhr erreichen wir den RV Voyager Park hier steht das riesige Wohnmobil – ein nettes Abendessen mit Matt & Leisa beenden einen langen und sch\u00f6nen Biketag ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
