Heute Morgen hatte ich keine Lust auf Radfahren – beim Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck in diesem gro\u00dfen Vital-Hotel nervte mich das Gedr\u00e4ngel am Buffet – ich selbst f\u00fchlte mich auch nicht wirklich gut. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Habe rumgebummelt und bin erst um zehn Uhr losgefahren. Von der Hitze will ich garnicht mehr reden – die ist Fakt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bei Temperaturen weit \u00fcber 30 Grad verzichte ich auf Camping und erhole mich nach einem Radtag in gek\u00fchlten R\u00e4umen und unter einer sauberen Dusche. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offen war bis Mittag wie ich weiterfahre: dem Murradweg folgend \u00fcber Graz nach Norden oder eher nach S\u00fcden, nach Maribor an der Drau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auf der slowenischen Seite der Mur habe ich mitten im \u201enowhere\u201c Jessica getroffen – ein M\u00e4del aus Schottland, die sich vor drei Monaten mit dem Rad von zu Hause auf den Weg gemacht hat. Heute letzter Tag nach Maribor zu Freunden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der kurze small-talk, \u00fcber das woher \/ wohin ist f\u00fcr mich immer inspirierend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Spielfeld musste ich mich dann entscheiden und bin nach Slowenien abgebogen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meine Route ging in Sichtweite zur Autobahn – der Stau der Kroatienurlauber in Richtung Norden war sicher 20 km lang – bei guten 35 Grad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gegen 17 Uhr war ich in Maribor – hatte unterwegs h\u00e4ufiger Trinkpausen und ein \u201eschattiges Nickerchen\u201c eingelegt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die europ\u00e4ische Kulturhauptstadt 2012 ist wirklich sehenswert. Mein Hotel ist direkt an der Uferpromenade der Drau und ich genie\u00dfe den warmen Samstagabend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was mir hier im S\u00fcdosten Europas auff\u00e4llt sind zwei Dinge: 1) es wird sehr viel geraucht und 2) es wird extrem schnell und aggressiv Auto gefahren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Empathie und Freundlichkeit im Alltag ist auch nicht gerade \u00fcberbordend. In den Hotels wo ich bisher war, war das Personal auffallend h\u00f6flich und hilfsbereit auf den Campingpl\u00e4tzen eher nicht. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
