Grund 1: Gegenwind &#8211; Grund 2: es gab keine Chance auf Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck &#8211; ein Oatmeal-Cookie und ein Kaffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So war es dann auch &#8211; endlose flache Kilometer zwischen Baumwollfeldern .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"http:\/\/guderley.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_3568.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Die zwei\/drei Ansiedlungen entlang der Route auf 50km waren so, dass man schnell weiterf\u00e4hrt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wenigstens konnte ich Getr\u00e4nke und was S\u00fc\u00dfes in Friars Point bekommen &#8211; der Typ im Laden (war aus Algerien) meinte es w\u00e4re der schrecklichste Ort auf Erden. Vielleicht etwas \u00fcbertrieben &#8211; aber schrecklich w\u00fcrde ich ihn auch beschreiben &#8211; habe mich nicht getraut zu fotografieren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Habe mich sp\u00e4ter entschieden wieder auf dem vierspurigen \u201eBlues Highway\u201c zu fahren &#8211; der Verkehr war deutlich geringer als gestern &#8211; aber trotzdem war h\u00f6chste Aufmerksamkeit erforderlich. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bei Tageskilometer 80 war ich restlos leer gefahren und bin mit wackligen Beinen in die Tankstelle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein St\u00fcck Pizza und ein Liter eiskalte Limonade und eine halbe Stunde Pause haben mich wiederhergestellt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der junge Mann hinter dem Tresen war sehr an meiner Tour interessiert &#8211; er kommt aus dem Jemen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Gegend hier wird als Mississippi-Delta bezeichnet &#8211; tats\u00e4chlich ist das eigentliche Delta nat\u00fcrlich ganz im S\u00fcden &#8211; die Erkl\u00e4rung daf\u00fcr findet ihr bei Wikipedia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mein Tag endet im Cotton House in Cleveland MS &#8211;
