Ich verlasse Lancaster relativ zeitig und fahre auf einer ruhigen Countyroad f\u00fcr \u00fcber 10 Meilen durch das Farmland. Die rolling hills machen Laune, da die Geschwindigkeit bergab fast immer reicht um auf den n\u00e4chsten H\u00fcgel zu kommen. Ein blitzblanker Himmel verst\u00e4rkt den Spa\u00df deutlich. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Potosi trinke ich einen exzellenten Kaffee an einem kleinen Supermarkt. Auf dem Weg nach Dickeyville g\u00f6nne ich mir eine kleine Pause unter einem sch\u00f6nen Baum und h\u00f6re etwas Bundesliga im Radio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ein leckerer Pancake gibt mir die Power f\u00fcr die zweite Tagesh\u00e4lfte. Hinter Dickeyville muss ich wieder, wie schon 2022, trotz Verbotsschild auf dem Randstreifen eines Highways rund 1 1\/2 Meilen fahren, um diesen dann \u00fcber vier Spuren hinweg zu queren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am Ende einer langen Auffahrt erreiche ich mit der Sandy Hook Tavern, den Ort wo ich im Juli 2022 meine Brieftasche habe liegen lassen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ich kaufe mir wieder eine Cola mit zugeh\u00f6rigem Becher voll Eis und spiele quasi die Situation vom letzten Jahr nach. Ich nehme diesmal meine Brieftasche allerdings wieder mit \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Wenig sp\u00e4ter bin ich in Illinois – dem vierten Staat auf der Tour – nach einer langen Abfahrt und einem extrem steilen St\u00fcck aufw\u00e4rts erreiche ich das Haus von Liesa und Matt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Ich werde mehr als freundlich begr\u00fc\u00dft und herzlich Willkommen gehei\u00dfen – wir haben uns viel zu erz\u00e4hlen – sp\u00e4ter zaubert Liesa ein perfektes Dinner. Wir genie\u00dfen den Abend auf der Terrasse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
