Gays Mills – Farm WI – Lancaster WI \u2014> 58 km Gesamt: 481 km<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es ist ziemlich windig am Morgen auf der Farm von Tom und Nancy. Sie liegt auch etwas exponiert auf der H\u00f6he. In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zu einer Amish-Population. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich habe keine Eile und wir fr\u00fchst\u00fccken alle zusammen sehr gem\u00fctlich und ausgiebig. Sp\u00e4ter belade ich mein Rad und gegen 10 Uhr nehme ich Abschied von Tom und Nancy. Silke und Frank (und die M\u00e4dels) sehe ich vermutlich im Laufe des Jahres wieder in Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Strecke geht heute ausschlie\u00dflich durchs Hinterland – weit abseits vom MR – und ist sehr selektiv. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Rolling Hills wechseln sich mit steilen Rampen ab und die H\u00f6henmeter summieren sich auf 750 am Ende des Tages. Etwas erschwerend hat mich mein Komoot-Track – mehr als die H\u00e4lfte der Tagesstrecke – auf Gravel- und Dirtroads gef\u00fchrt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Das Wetter ist sehr gut – etwas frisch – der Wind kommt meist von hinten – sehr angenehm die leichte Unterst\u00fctzung. Eigentlich ein guter Tag zum Campen – entscheide mich in Lancaster aber f\u00fcr ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Motel. Der n\u00e4chste CP war mir einfach zu weit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      So bleibe ich meinen kurzen Etappen treu \/ morgen bis East Dubuque ist es \u00e4hnlich weit. Freue mich auf Liesa und Matt – dort wo ich letztes Jahr abgebrochen habe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Die Pizza habe ich mir heute erarbeitet \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Lancaster ist ein irgendwo zwischen 3 und 4Tausend-Ew-Ort. Jetzt am Freitagabend ist sprichw\u00f6rtlich \u201eder Hund \u2026..\u201c. Sch\u00f6ne H\u00e4user gibt es und einen sch\u00f6nen Sonnenuntergang. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
