Pass, Kreditkarten, F\u00fchrerschein, Personalausweis, Bargeld etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Panisch durchsuche ich mein ganzes Equipment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siedend hei\u00df f\u00e4llt mir mein letzter Stopp am gestrigen Nachmittag ein &#8211; ca. 45 Minuten vom Haus der Nelsons entfernt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich habe mir in einer Bar an einer belebten Kreuzung eine eiskalte Cola geholt und habe die Brieftasche auf das Verandagel\u00e4nder gelegt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt und ich fahren sofort (7 Uhr) dorthin und suchen alles ab &#8211; Fehlanzeige. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt ruft die umliegenden Polizeistationen an, das sind drei, da hier Iowa, Illinois und Wisconsin aneinander grenzen &#8211; Fehlanzeige. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir recherchieren die Eigent\u00fcmer &#8211; fahren gegen 10 Uhr nochmal an die Bar &#8211; \u00f6ffnet normal erst um 14 Uhr &#8211; wir checken gemeinsam die komplette Bar und die Umgebung &#8211; Fehlanzeige. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich informiere die Freunde in Minneapolis und meine Familie- dort ist auch ein deutsches Konsulat  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es bleibt letztlich nur die Entscheidung zum Abbruch der Tour. Matt f\u00e4hrt mich den halben Weg zur\u00fcck &#8211; Kate \u00fcbernimmt mich in Decorah und wir sind um 19 Uhr in Minneapolis. \ufffc<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich \u00e4rgere mich maximal \u00fcber meinen Fehler &#8211; bin sauer auf mich, traurig \u00fcber das abrupte Ende und bin gleichzeitig froh, dass mir so selbstlos geholfen wird. Ich erhalte einen Termin f\u00fcr kommenden Samstag !?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Werde morgen versuchen schneller an ein Ausreisedokument zu kommen, damit ich die Heimreise organisieren kann. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fazit des Tages: Ziemliche Sch\u2026\u2026 die ich mir da eingebrockt habe.
