Lie\u00df sich gut fahren &#8211; war die ersten beiden Stunden meist im Schatten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prairie Du Chien ist ein cooler Name &#8211; kommt wohl daher, da\u00df der Fox-H\u00e4uptling, der sein Land an die Franzosen verschacherte, einen indianischen Ausdruck f\u00fcr Hund im Namen f\u00fchrte. Eines zu, das andere \u201eno vacancy\u201c. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Eagles Roost hat es geklappt &#8211; zwar musste ich fast 2 1\/2 h warten, da die Eigent\u00fcmer auf Bootstour waren &#8211; ohne Telefon. Eine Familie aus Illinois, die eine Ferienwoche hier verbringt, versicherten mir, dass ein Zimmer frei ist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ende gut &#8211; alles gut &#8211; ein kleiner Pool und ein sehr sch\u00f6nes Zimmer mit Ausblick (gek\u00fchlt). Camping bei diesen Temperaturen und der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit schlie\u00dfe ich baw. erstmal aus.
