Bin kurz nach sechs Uhr auf der Stra\u00dfe – alles sehr ruhig – genie\u00dfe die morgendliche K\u00fchle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Chippewa-State-Park mache ich erstmals mit den aggressiven M\u00fccken Bekanntschaft. Wird ein bisschen anstrengend, da Stehenbleiben fast nicht m\u00f6glich ist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Langsam macht sich der Hunger bemerkbar – Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck war ein Granola Bar und ein doppelter Espresso. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Big Fish in Bena<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Ich stelle mir Eier mit Speck vor – nach 50 km erreiche ich Bena – ein Ort mit ca. 100 Ew – aber mit einem Grocery Store und dem Big Winnie Caf\u00e9 – und da passiert es – meine Vorstellung wird erf\u00fcllt. \ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am Winnie Dam mache ich ein Pause und denke mir eigentlich w\u00e4re das ein super Platz zum \u00dcbernachten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Verwerfe den Gedanken – es ist ja erst 12:30 Uhr. Wenn so ein Gedanke erstmal da ist, kann er hartn\u00e4ckig werden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

15 km sp\u00e4ter halte ich am Stra\u00dfenrand – gg\u00fc. geht es in die Ball Lake Club Lodge, da kommt Gary auf einem Trike angebraust, der Eigent\u00fcmer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich schaue mir die Lodge an und bin schnell entschieden, hier bleibe ich an einem MR-Backwater. Toller Platz f\u00fcr mein Zelt und ich richte mich auf einen entspannten Nachmittag ein. Gary gibt ein Light Beer aus und ich bin ziemlich happy \u00fcber den Platz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fast zu viel des Guten wurde ich zum Dinner in eines dieser riesigen Wohnmobile eingeladen. Habe mich nicht getraut zu fotografieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So sitze ich jetzt vorm Zelt – eine Brise h\u00e4lt die M\u00fccken in Schach – und trinke ein k\u00fchles Bier, das haben sie mir auch noch mitgegeben. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
