Beim Aufwachen war es ziemlich bew\u00f6lkt und es sah kalt aus. Meine eigene Vorgabe war – ich gehe erst aus dem Haus, wenn das Thermometer 12 Grad Celsius erreicht. Gegen 11 Uhr bin ich gestartet. Mein AirBnB liegt in Porter Creek einer netten Neighborhood in Whitehorse, allerdings oben auf dem Kamm, so dass es hinab zum Yukon rund 100 hm sind.<\/p>\n

Es wurde ein toller sonniger Sonntag, in der Sonne waren es locker 20 Grad am Nachmittag und die kurzen Hosen und FlipFlops bei den Einheimischen waren im Einsatz.<\/p>\n

Ich habe einen Radausflug zum Miles Canyon gemacht, eine Felsenge durch die sich der Yukon presst. Im gro\u00dfen Goldrausch vor 120 Jahren war dieser Canyon eine der schwierigsten Passagen f\u00fcr die Abenteurer auf dem Weg zum Klondike.<\/p>\n

Sp\u00e4ter war ich im sehr sehenswerten Beringia-Museum, habe lecker und sehr gesund downtown gegessen und noch ein bisschen am Yukonufer gefaulenzt, bevor ich wieder hinauf nach Porter Creek geradelt bin.<\/p>\n
