Ich hatte in Carmacks gemerkt, dass ich in ein ziemliches Energieloch fahre. Nachdem ich keine Eile habe mein Schiff am 6.6. in Skagway zu erreichen habe ich einen entspannten Tag in dieser wunderbaren Seenlandschaft verbracht. Habe einen netten Abend mit Sherry und Paul verbracht und super gut geschlafen.<\/p>\n

Es waren heute morgen -3 Grad Celsius und mein Zelt war sch\u00f6n gefroren, vor allem durch kondensierte Atemluft. Mein Schlafsack ist weiter grandios – viel k\u00e4lter sollte es aber nicht mehr werden d\u00fcrfen.<\/p>\n

Starte ohne Eile in einen sonnigen Morgen. Nach 28 km erreiche ich die Braeburn Lodge – sie ist eine bekannte Kontrollstation beim j\u00e4hrlichen Yukon-Quest-Hundeschlittenrennen.<\/p>\n

Dort treffe ich auch Sherry und Paul nochmal, wir teilen uns famili\u00e4r einen der riesigen Cinnamon-Bunns, erz\u00e4hlen noch ein bisschen und jeder f\u00e4hrt in seinem Tempo weiter.<\/p>\n

Leider blieb es nicht so windstill, wie am Morgen. Je h\u00f6her ich hinauf kam – auf ca. 900 hm – desto unfreundlicher blies der Wind mir entgegen.<\/p>\n

Ich mache wieder zeitig Schlu\u00df und suche mir ein nettes Pl\u00e4tzchen am Fox Lake Campground.<\/p>\n

Bin hier weiterhin in der „netzfreien Zone“, das sollte sich morgen am 31.5. in Richtung Whitehorse \u00e4ndern, so dass die Berichte wieder aktuell erscheinen.<\/p>\n

Am Abend hat mir dann eine nette Schweizer Familie zwei Bier spendiert – es ist traumhaft sch\u00f6n hier, weitgehend leer auf einer riesigen Fl\u00e4che. Habe mir noch ein sch\u00f6nes Feuerchen gemacht. Alles bestens \ud83d\udc4d\ud83c\udde8\ud83c\udde6<\/p>\n
