Guter Start in den Tag beim Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck mit Jessica und Mark. Besser h\u00e4tte ich nach dem Aufenthalt in Anchorage nicht meine Tour beginnen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Gegen 9 Uhr mache ich mich auf den Weg in meinen ersten echten Radtag hier in Alaska. Die ersten 25 km waren super auf einem tollen Bike-Path.<\/p>\n

Sp\u00e4ter ging es auf dem breiten Standstreifen des vielbefahrenen Highways bis nach Wasilla. War jetzt nicht wirklich prickelnd, aber es ging voran. Aktuell mache ich Pause in einem Starbucks.. Mal sehen was der Nachmittag bringt.<\/p>\n

Das Wetter heute ist okay – bew\u00f6lkt um die 12 Grad mit m\u00e4\u00dfigem Wind.<\/p>\n

In Houston habe ich mir ein Eis geg\u00f6nnt. Eher unspektakul\u00e4r ging es m\u00e4\u00dfig auf und ab auf dem Parks Highway. Houston und Willow, die beiden einzigen „Ansiedlungen“ hinter Wasilla, haben jeweils so um die f\u00fcnf H\u00e4user im „Zentrum“.<\/p>\n

Rund 100 km sollten genug sein f\u00fcr den ersten richtigen Biketag und so habe ich jetzt mein Zelt am Willow Creek auf einer Campsite stehen.<\/p>\n

Just als mein Zelt stand rief mich eine Kontaktadresse von warmshowers.org an und lud mich f\u00fcr eine Nacht ein. Das habe ich leider ablehnen m\u00fcssen – allerdings bin ich morgen zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck eingeladen. Auch nicht schlecht.<\/p>\n
