Ruhetag<\/h3>\n

Punta Arenas ist eine Stadt im \u00e4u\u00dfersten S\u00fcden Chiles. Sie ist die Hauptstadt der chilenischen Region XII. Magallanes y de la Ant\u00e1rtica Chilena. Sie liegt am chilenischen Festland gegen\u00fcber der Insel Feuerland und hat rund 100.000 Enwohner.<\/p>\n

Wie wichtig einem allt\u00e4gliche Dinge sein k\u00f6nnen ? Eine hei\u00dfe Dusche und ein warmes Bett mit Kissen und Decken. Beides habe ich ausgiebig genossen gestern und heute morgen bis 8 Uhr geschlafen. Mit unserem Hostal haben wir einen Gl\u00fccksgriff getan – ein tolles Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck und reizende Leute.<\/p>\n

N\u00e4chster wichtiger Punkt war die W\u00e4sche zur Lavanderia zu bringen. Alles nochmal klarmachen f\u00fcr die letzten Tage auf dem Rad.<\/p>\n

Auf dem Kartenausschnitt ist unsere verbleibende Route nachzuvollziehen. Morgen geht es mit der F\u00e4hre nach Feuerland – das klingt magisch – Tierra del Fuego !!!. Noch einmal ein Bushcamp. Donnerstag werden zwei Etappen zusammengelegt, da irgendwie Quartierprobleme bestehen – Ziel Rio Grande. Dort am Freitag noch ein Ruhetag. Samstag nach Tolhuin und Sonntag ans Ende der Welt – Ushuaia !!!<\/p>\n

Nachzutragen am Ruhetag ist auch noch der Kondor, den wir an den Torres del Paine gesehen haben. Ich konnte ihn leider nicht fotografieren und habe ihn mir heute von Michelles Blog „geklaut“. Der gr\u00f6\u00dfte lebende Vogel auf unserer Erde !<\/div>\n

Tags\u00fcber ein Bummel durch Punta Arenas mit einem Besuch auf dem ber\u00fchmten Cementerio Municipal. Durch die Zypressengassen zu gehen und die Inschriften auf den Grabsteinen und Mausoleen zu lesen ist wie das Bl\u00e4ttern im Geschichtsbuch der Besiedlung dieser entlegenen Ecke auf unserem Planeten.<\/p>\n

Auf der Plaza de Armas steht ein Denkmal f\u00fcr Fernando de Magallanes. Beim Ber\u00fchren des goldenen Fu\u00dfes des Eingeborenen gedachte W\u00fcnsche gehen in Erf\u00fcllung. Mal sehen.<\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend unseres Foto-Shootings konnten wir noch ein Interview f\u00fcr das chilenische Fernsehen geben.<\/div>\n
Der Rest des Tages dient jetzt der ausschlie\u00dflichen Erholung und einem leckeren Abendessen.<\/div>\n
