Etappe 103 – Villa Tehuelches – Punta Arenas<\/h3>\n

Die K\u00e4lte blieb auch am Morgen hartn\u00e4ckig und ich zog so ziemlich alle verf\u00fcgbaren Teile \u00fcbereinander an, was immer ein bisschen anstrengend im Zelt ist. Der Wind war heute morgen sehr friedvoll und stellte uns vor keine Probleme. Mittlerweile fahren wir meistens nach S\u00fcdosten und ab Punta Arenas soll der Wind bis Ushuaia „nur noch unser Freund sein“. Das glaube ich erst wenn ich es erlebt habe.<\/p>\n

Was mir schon seit Beginn der Tour auff\u00e4llt sind die vielen Gedenkst\u00e4tten f\u00fcr Unf\u00e4lle entlang der Routen. manche sehr aufw\u00e4ndig und sehr gepflegt, oft mit ganz vielen Gegenst\u00e4nden, wie Essen und Trinken f\u00fcr den oder die Verungl\u00fcckten. Nach fr\u00fchem Start war ich gegen 12:30 Uhr in Punta Arenas, der Stadt an der Magellanstra\u00dfe. Die Einfahrt bis ins Zentrum hat einige Zeit in Anspruch genommen und gemeinsam mit J.R. bin ich an dem Hospedaje angekommen, welches Bike Dreams f\u00fcr zwei N\u00e4chte in Mehrbettzimmern gebucht hat, f\u00fcr die Tour.<\/p>\n

Das hatte ich mir ja schon gestern vorgenommen an beiden Tagen ein eigenes Zimmer, mit eigenem Bad und Toilette und vor allem W\u00e4rme zu haben. Alfred und ich sind ein bisschen durch die menschenleere Stadt geradelt und haben im Hostal Avenida eine nette Unterkunft gefunden, die unseren Vorstellungen entspricht.<\/p>\n

Ein Taxi organisiert und unser Gep\u00e4ck an den Trucks geholt und erstmal Auspacken und relaxen. Warum die Stadt so still ist hat sich schnell gekl\u00e4rt, es ist Feiertag in Chile, Inmaculada Concepci\u00f3n ! das d\u00fcrfte wohl f\u00fcr Maria Empf\u00e4ngnis stehen !<\/p>\n
