Etappe 98 El Calafate – Bushcamp <\/h3>\n

128 km – 1135 hm \/ Gesamt: 1551 km<\/h3>\n

Der gestrige Ruhetag und der Ausflug zum Gletscher haben uns auf die rund 1000 km bis zum Ziel nach Ushuaia bestens vorbereitet. Heute morgen gutes Radwetter, man sah kaum lange Hosen im Feld.<\/p>\n

Die ersten 32 km ging es auf der gleichen Strecke zur\u00fcck, auf der wir uns am Sonntag gegen den Sturm gestemmt hatten. Heute haben wir daf\u00fcr gerade mal eine Stunde gebraucht.<\/p>\n

Nach rund 50 km galt es einen ca 10 km langen Aufstieg mit etwa 800 H\u00f6henmetern zu bew\u00e4ltigen, das fiel mir leicht. Ich hatte lockere Beine und sa\u00df entspannt auf dem Rad.<\/p>\n

Auf der Hochebene angekommen war der Blick zur\u00fcck frei auf den Lago Argentino. Sehr beeindruckend !<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Hier oben blies der Wind m\u00e4chtig, war aber zumeist eher hilfreich. Wenn er stramm von der Seite kommt kostet es auch Kraft das Rad entsprechend zuhalten.<\/p>\n

Nach meiner sehr kurzen Mittagspause bin ich zusammen mit Jan aus Belgien weitergefahren. Die letzten 30 km waren wieder anspruchsvolle Naturpiste, da merke ich einen deutlichen technischen Fortschritt auf dem Rad.<\/p>\n

Unser Camp ist ein echtes Bushcamp in einem etwas windgesch\u00fctzten Flu\u00dftal. Weit und breit ist nichts als Natur.<\/p>\n

Ich freue mich auf den wahnsinnigen Sternenhimmel heute Nacht bei keinem Fremdlicht.<\/p>\n

Unseren letzten Regen hatten wir vor zwei Wochen, als ich fast abgesoffen bin. Die Tendenz sieht gut aus weiter im Trockenen zu fahren.<\/p>\n

Morgen geht es wieder \u00fcber die chilenische Grenze nach Cerro Castillo.<\/p>\n
