Mein letzter Tag entlang des Rheins begann an meinem Hotel gegen 9 Uhr mit dem Wechsel an das rechte Ufer. Eine Stunde sp\u00e4ter erreichte ich D\u00fcsseldorf. Die gesamte Rheinpromenade zeigte noch ziemlich heftige Spuren des gro\u00dfen Japantages am Samstag, so dass ich mich nicht zum Verweilen entscheiden konnte.<\/p>\n

Weiter ging meine Route in Richtung Duisburg. So grau, wie manche der riesigen Industrieansiedlungen, war auch das Wetter fast den ganzen Sonntag, immer wieder durchsetzt mit kurzen Regenschauern. In Duisburg selbst habe ich irgendwie die Orientierung verloren und bin ziemlich rumgegurkt bis ich wieder auf Kurs am Rheinufer war.<\/p>\n

Auch heute wieder eine klare Entscheidung – no Camping im Regen.<\/p>\n

Wesel habe ich als Endpunkt angepeilt. Etwa sieben Kilometer vor dem Ziel hatte ich dann meinen ersten Platten mit dem „Blauen Elefanten“. Nat\u00fcrlich hinten – nat\u00fcrlich im Regen. Also komplett „Abr\u00f6deln“ und den Schaden untersuchen, der \u00dcbelt\u00e4ter war schnell entdeckt – ein veritabler Glassplitter hatte sich im Mantel festgesetzt und sich seinen Weg bis zum Schlauch gebahnt. Keine Chance zum Flicken vor Ort – Ersatzschlauch rein und wieder „Aufr\u00f6deln“. Leider hat mich meine Luftpumpe etwas im Stich gelassen, so dass ich nur mit M\u00fche genug Luft zum Weiterfahren in den Reifen bekam.<\/p>\n

In Wesel hatte ich noch eine kleine Odyssee bis ich eine geeignete Bleibe gefunden habe.<\/p>\n
