Bestes Radwetter am Donnerstag als ich meinen „Blauen Elefanten“ gesattelt habe. Vor mir liegt ohne Detailplanung rund ein Monat auf dem Rad. Meine Vorstellung ist zun\u00e4chst an Main und Rhein entlang an die niederl\u00e4ndische K\u00fcste zu fahren und weiter entlang der belgischen und franz\u00f6sischen K\u00fcste bis zur Loirem\u00fcndung. Was am Ende tats\u00e4chlich als Route herauskommt wird sich zeigen.<\/p>\n

Erst bin ich noch bei meinem Ausr\u00fcster Zweirad Hasenstab in Goldbach vorbeigefahren um noch einige fehlende Teile mitzunehmen und genug Luft f\u00fcr die insgesamt rd. 120 kg (Ausr\u00fcstung \u2013 Mensch \u2013 Rad) in die Reifen zu geben. Tino, Horst und Robert k\u00fcmmern sich das ganze Jahr intensiv um meine gro\u00dfen und kleinen W\u00fcnsche.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Gegen Mittag fuhr ich an der Europ\u00e4ischen Zentralbank vorbei, mit Blick auf die immer wieder imposante Skyline dieser Stadt. Schon seit Hanau blies mir ein kr\u00e4ftiger Wind entgegen. <\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n
Im vergangenen Jahr bin ich mit dem „Blauen Elefanten“ relativ wenig gefahren. In S\u00fcdamerika war ich ja mit meinem M\u00fcsing-MTB unterwegs. Die etwas andere Sitzposition, das Gesamtgewicht und meine mangelnde Fitness f\u00fchrten schon nach rund 70 km zu muskul\u00e4ren Problemen; vor allem beim Auf – und Absteigen \u00e4rgerten mich erste Kr\u00e4mpfe.<\/div>\n

An der H\u00f6chster F\u00e4hre wechselte ich die Mainseite und k\u00e4mpfte mich bis zur Mainm\u00fcndung voran. Hier legte ich eine Gedenkminute ein, hatte ich doch exakt dort vor 4 Wochen mein Handy verloren und am n\u00e4chsten Tag von einer guten Fee zur\u00fcckerhalten. <\/div>\n

Gelieb\u00e4ugelt hatte ich mit meiner ersten Nacht auf dem Campingplatz gegen\u00fcber der Loreley. \u00dcber Wiesbaden-Biebrich, Eltville und Oestrich-Winkel kam ich nach R\u00fcdesheim und entschied mich f\u00fcr den dortigen, sehr sch\u00f6n ruhig gelegenen Campingplatz. Weitere 2 h bis zur Loreley wollte ich mir am ersten Tag nicht antun.<\/div>\n
